Get Ready to Take the Plunge: Polar Bear Club Launches in Glasgow on May 13th

Attention Glasgow! Get ready for an invigorating new experience that is sure to get your heart pumping and your endorphins flowing. In just three days, on May 13th, the Polar Bear Club will be opening its doors located at 131 Minerva Street, Glasgow, G3 8LE, and inviting everyone to take part in the exciting world of cold water therapy.

With a wide range of activities and amenities available, visitors will have the opportunity to explore the benefits of cold water immersion and take their health and wellness to new heights.

As you walk through the doors of the Polar Bear Club, you will be greeted by a bright and welcoming atmosphere. The space features a café area where visitors can grab a refreshing drink or snack before or after their cold water therapy session. With comfortable seating and a cozy atmosphere, it's the perfect spot to relax and socialise with friends.

The wellness chill area is designed to help visitors relax and unwind before their cold water therapy session. With calming music, comfortable seating, and a tranquil atmosphere, visitors can clear their minds and prepare for the cold plunge.

The highlight of the Polar Bear Club is, of course, the two ice baths available for visitors to immerse themselves in. The ice baths are maintained at a temperature of around 8 degrees Celsius, providing the perfect environment for cold water therapy.

In addition to the ice baths, the Polar Bear Club also offers a variety of activities designed to complement the cold water therapy experience. Visitors can participate in guided breath work and meditation sessions, which can help to calm the mind and reduce stress levels.

The benefits of cold water therapy are numerous, including improved circulation, reduced inflammation, increased energy levels, and improved mental clarity. With the opening of the Polar Bear Club HQ, residents of Glasgow will now have the opportunity to explore these benefits for themselves.

And that's not all - The Polar Bear Club is proud to announce our partnership with Kindness Homeless, a voluntary charity dedicated to supporting and lifting people in Glasgow and the surrounding areas.

As a community group turned charity, Kindness Homeless started as a soup kitchen in December 2019, offering daily services throughout the pandemic. Since then, the organisation has grown to provide recycled furniture, soft furnishings, electrical appliances and assistance in turning empty flats into homes.

In addition to these services, Kindness Homeless has a donation centre that is open 6 days a week, providing food parcels, clothing referrals, and other support from their centre. With their donation centre, Kindness Homeless is able to offer a 6-day service to the community, accepting clothing, footwear, toiletries, and tinned foods.

The Polar Bear Club is honoured to have Kindness Homeless as our partners for our grand opening. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those in need in Glasgow and the surrounding areas.

Come join us on May 13th and experience the benefits of cold water therapy while supporting a great cause. We are excited to bring the Glasgow community together and make a positive impact on mental and physical wellness.
